Abstract
Soft tissue tumors (STT) are mesenchymal proliferations seen in non-epithelial tissues. More than a hundred types of STT have been described, and these tumors are divided into two main groups as benign and malignant. The diagnostic algorithm should be clinical evaluation (detailed history and physical examination), radiology, and histopathology (biopsy), respectively. Since STT’s rarity and benign tumors are more frequent, significant problems may occur in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors.
