Abstract
This chapter provides a foundational overview of occupational therapy in primary care, including defining primary care, explaining the natural fit between the goals of primary care and the philosophy and scope of practice of occupational therapy, and some details of occupational therapy service delivery in a primary care context that will be applicable throughout the condition-specific chapters in this book.
