Abstract
Specific applications of definition of limit are examined and accompanied by examples and exercises. The important results, such as the theorems of the uniqueness of the limit, the permanence of the sign, the theorems of comparison, the theorem of the limit of the composite function are proved in detail. Left and right limit are defined and commented. The operations on limits and indeterminate forms are examined and directly solved. Solved problems concern limits of composite functions.
