Zusammenfassung
Der Faktor „Mobilität“ ist entscheidend für die soziale und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung einer Nation. Im letzten Jahrhundert wurde der private Gebrauch von Autos in großen Teilen der Welt zur Norm und die Automobilindustrie – von Tier-n-Zulieferern bis hin zu global agierenden OEMs – hat in vielen Wirtschaften eine Schlüsselposition eingenommen. Im 21. Jahrhundert steht die Branche vor neuen technologischen (und umweltbezogenen) Entwicklungen, die ihre Geschäftsmuster unweigerlich neu gestalten werden. Künstliche Intelligenz, Digitalisierung und das Internet der Dinge sind nur einige der Schlüsselfaktoren für die Automobilbranche. Die Arbeit präsentiert mögliche Phänotypen für Mobilität und Smart City-Szenarien 2030 und stellt die darunterliegenden Geschäftsmodelle vor. Sie betrachtet auch die Akteure, die einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die weitere Entwicklung der Automobillandschaft haben – welche Rolle spielt hier der menschliche Faktor? Und welche wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen hat die automatisierte und geteilte Mobilität auf bestehende Wertschöpfungsketten und Einnahmequellen? Die Beantwortung dieser Fragen unter Berücksichtigung sozialer, wirtschaftlicher, finanzieller und politischer Dimensionen bietet dem Leser eine umfassende Bewertung der Automobilgeschäftsumgebung 2030.
