Abstract

This chapter addresses clinical and dermoscopic features according to the phototype (fair vs dark skin) of the following less common hyperpigmented dermatoses: Dowling-Degos disease, macular amyloidosis and lichen amyloidosis, terra firma-forme dermatosis, dermatosis neglecta, exogenous ochronosis, Riehl melanosis (pigmented contact dermatitis), and Gougerot-Carteaud syndrome.
