Abstract
This chapter addresses clinical and dermoscopic features according to the phototype (fair vs dark skin) of the following common hyperpigmented dermatoses: lichen pigmentosus, ashy dermatosis, melasma, friction melanosis, acanthosis nigricans, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, nevus of Ota and Becker nevus.
