    Fig. 4.1 shows a real example of a leadership team’s application of a specific scorecard version to self-assess the public value of its divestment decision (Meynhardt, 2015). From a business perspective (usefulness and profitability), the opportunities (the solid line) clearly outweighed the risks (the dotted line). However, a conflict emerged between the moral-ethical dimension and the political-social one. Whereas the project was seen as bearing a moral risk, the political dimension appeared to be less risky.
