Abstract
This chapter provides a more comprehensive insight into the relevance of GEM indicators for monitoring progress towards the 2030 UN SDGs and their targets. Special attention was paid on selected goals related to equality, decent work and economic growth, gender inclusion and education, as well as on the supportive/hindering feature of entrepreneurial environment. The Slovenian Development Strategy 2030 and the Spain Entrepreneurial Nation Strategy are presented as examples of using GEM indicators for designing and monitoring policies on national level.
