Abstract

This article is devoted to the history of Russian exams, particularly exit exams, and particularly the history of changes in exam form. Relying on existing studies of the principles of the composition of problem sets for assessment, the author aims to examine what happened with exams in Russia against the background of social and political changes, while clarifying as far as possible the social significance and basic tendencies of seemingly strictly methodological processes.
