Abstract
All tech businesses use computers to manage their finances and employ in-house or contract specialists such as accountants to prepare financial statements and tax returns. Yet many do not use financial modeling and forecasting to improve their financial management and their ability to understand what has gone right or wrong with the business. This enables them to realize if the financial results suggest that must pivot their strategy; it illuminates various options for doing so.
