Abstract
A business model is a description of how a company uses people and resources to deliver products and services to customers and how it makes money. This chapter discusses the elements of a business model and how paying attention to them is essential for product success. I pay particular attention to go-to-market plans, product design, pricing, web sites, and to digital marketing approaches that encourage the viral growth of customers and revenue.
