Abstract
One of the reasons that many opportunities are never exploited or even discovered is that an actor may think that he or she must immediately comply with uncertain obligations. This view may not be true if an entrepreneur can see his opportunities as options rather than commitments. An option is a right but not an obligation to consummate an exchange.
Arbitrage is a very effective decision support tool for aspiring entrepreneurs. Anyone can utilize it without regard for resources. Even poverty is not a barrier. The only barriers are ignorance about its potential and a lack of will to engage in its disciplined use. Of course, such a contention is threatening to those who want to use generational poverty as a political weapon to rail against. Education is a better answer in this case than politics.
