Abstract
This commentary on the chapter “Posttraumatic Growth & Wisdom: Processes and Clinical Applications” provides recommendations for improving the research practices in the study of posttraumatic growth. This commentary focuses on how to assess actual growth versus perceived growth and how to operationalize posttraumatic growth in order to represent measurement of actual change.
