Abstract
Public speaking and networking are important skills for obtaining a position in a pharmaceutical company and for career advancement. This chapter offers advice on how to overcome your fear of public speaking, present a dynamic and interesting talk, improve your oral and visual presentation, introduce yourself, and expand your network of colleagues. A considerable amount of time over years must be invested in this self-training and effort, but the benefits are huge and long-lasting throughout your entire career.
