Recent Innovations in Artificial Intelligence and Smart Applications

Abstract

There is an increase in the number of people aged 60 and above worldwide [37]. On October 12, 1999, the world population peaked at 6 billion and was estimated to climb to 9 billion. By 2037, with a growth rate getting lower each year, we expect to have many older adults by then. With the increase in the price of caregivers and medication year by year, it is getting harder to maintain their longevity. The research papers reviewed will include the latest technology in Healthcare, which will assist older adult's Healthcare. The aim is to represent data and findings of other research papers to figure out the problems faced in this area of research and how much it has advanced the state-of-the-art during the past years, and where it is going in the future. This research paper uses PRISMA guidelines for systematically reviewing the studies. These studies focus on novel technologies, new findings, current trends, benefits, and contributions in elderly care using the latest technologies from every aspect. The conducted review covers the period from January 2018 to January 2022. The research outcomes were astonishing, especially the studies that assisted older people in care. This area of research needs continuous and intensive research in various databases to get full coverage of the subject.
