Abstract
Over the years I have also spent a significant amount of time and effort on being both a board member, as well as a consultant. Three principles seemed to emerge, above all. First, to always try to fully support given business and its sitting management. Second, to attempt to be non-political, never to allow myself to be drawn into destabilizing, even conspiratory coalitions, typically to unseat the existing management. Third, to try to be as time efficient as possible.
