Right Anteromedial Basal Bisegmentectomy (S7 + S8)

  • Chapter
Video-Atlas of VATS Pulmonary Sublobar Resections

Abstract

Segmentectomies are challenging surgeries because of need of more detailed understanding of bronchovascular anatomy and frequent variations; deeper intraparenchymal localization of the hilar structure and difficulty of identifying intersegmental planes. In this chapter, we are discussing the right S7 + 8 bisegmentectomy and explaining tricks and tips for better understanding and performing this type of complex procedures.
