Abstract
This chapter concentrates on the classification of brain tumors and includes changes that are up-to-date and included in the fifth edition of the WHO Classification of Tumors of the central nervous system (CNS), published in 2021. Molecular diagnostics is currently playing a pivotal role in the management of neuro-oncology patients. The key terms and concepts in this field are highlighted with the aid of twenty questions.
