It is extremely important, for the emergency physician, knowing the basic principles of surgical anatomy of the extremities in order to thoroughly understand the first steps in emergency setting. It is equally important to be aware the diagnostic and therapeutic pathways in E.D. (Emergency Department), when a patient presents at our attention with symptoms of ischaemic or haemorrhagic condition.
