Abstract

The aim of this chapter is to focus on the imaging aspects of obstetric pathology, in which radiologists are involved in the diagnostic process and management of the patient. The main topics consist of placental pathology, ectopic pregnancy, and gestational trophoblastic disease. The fundamental imaging features of these three obstetric diseases are described in the text, with specific reference to radiologic images.
