Abstract
After the description of cognitive functions, a discussion on “thoughts” and “thinking” could seem redundant. However, thinking is the end product of brain function and constitutes what the term “mind” includes as its essence. The philosophical and analytical approaches of this issue are not an aim for the current book. However, it is important to discuss what are the macroscopic features of the process of thinking and the concept of intelligence, which constitute an expansion of what has been mentioned and described so far in previous chapters.
