Abstract
In the previous chapter, we described the renal vasoactive hormones and their contribution to kidney excretory function and blood pressure regulation. This chapter addresses the pathophysiological alterations of these vasoactive hormonal systems and their contribution to chronic kidney disease and salt-sensitive high blood pressure.
