Abstract
A 41-year-old woman came to our institution complaining mainly of disabling right patellar instability and severe right anterior knee pain (AKP) that had not improved with appropriate physical therapy. It is worth mentioning that she had serious psychological problems. The Kujala score was of 24 points. The contralateral knee was completely asymptomatic. She had visited 5 doctors before coming to us.
