Abstract

Vascular disease is the leading cause of mortality in the USA. Atherosclerosis is one of the most common causes of it. Human organs specially heart, brain, and other vital organs are severely affected as their blood supply is compromised. Hypertension and venous thrombosis are also common causes of clinically significant disease. This chapter deals with the vascular diseases, congenital vascular anomalies, hypertension, and vasculitis.
