Abstract

Erythroderma, or exfoliative dermatitis, is an inflammatory disorder that involves desquamation and erythema of more than 90% of the body surface area. Several diseases such as previous dermatoses (psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, pityriasis rubra pilaris, and pemphigus foliaceous), congenital ichthyosiform disorders, infections, drug eruptions, and internal malignancies may appear as erythroderma.
