Abstract
3D printing has rapidly found its place in medical field and more so in the speciality of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Virtual surgical planning and 3D printing have allowed the maxillofacial surgeons to foresee the outcomes of the surgery and modify the surgical approach to make the procedures predictable. This chapter gives a highlight of the various procedures that can be done with the help of virtual surgical planning and 3D printing and how this new technology has revolutionised the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
