Navigation in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Abstract

Tooth loss impacts the quality of life especially when it comes to nutrition, appearance, and general well-being. Dental implants have beneficial effects on the partially and fully edentulous patients. As demand for dental implants continues to grow, modern technology aids clinicians to carry on more precise implant procedures in a timely and cost-effective manner. The accuracy of the placement of the implant has a positive impact on both implant success rates and restorative results. In this chapter, we have reviewed static and dynamic navigation in implant surgery.
