Abstract

This is a case study of a live installation in Brighton, UK, that demonstrates from A to Z how to install a renewable energy system and achieve payback within less than 7 years. This detailed illustrated description of how a standard domestic residence can be refurbished to include cost-effective and energy-saving systems is easily replicated.

The author worked in the renewable energy industry for 25 years and has presented numerous papers on various aspects of domestic and commercial installations.
