Abstract
Humanity faces numerous environmental, social, and economic challenges in diverse contexts related to climate change, deforestation, water and food security, poverty, gender inequality in education, terrorism, human trafficking, fostering ethical market economies, global health, and fighting new as well as re-emerging diseases. Furthermore, these challenges are impacted by the rapid pace at which digitalization and technological developments have been taking place over the last 20 years.
