Abstract

When agile methods are brought into an organization, they create confusion and uncertainty, as does any organizational change. This is a natural part of the learning process of incorporating, adapting, and institutionalizing a new way of working. To be successful, UX professionals need to learn the language and attitudes of agile development. The new values and culture will make some established ways of working more difficult, but properly understood, they also open up opportunities for better integrating UX into the development process.
