The training and education processes are founded on several pillars forming the anatomy of education and academia. The Indian education endeavor is one of the oldest systems in the history of our civilization. The entire ancient Indian education method was based on the principles of epistemology, philosophy science, and tradition. The neurosurgeons are currently overwhelmed with the varieties of clinical practice. However, there is no excuse not to record and document the experience and preform good quality research. The good scientific and academical publications are essential for the development of science and medicine. Research is the cornerstone of any progress and find answer of unanswered medical and scientific questions. The status of a neuroscientist in the academic eyes is assessed by the quality of his publication. The citation of the article by other authors is a reliable parameter to gauze the strengths and contributory effects and the acknowledgement received by his publication.
