Factors Influencing Students’ Satisfaction in Learning with Virtual Platforms: Case of Higher Education in Morocco

Abstract

E-learning provides many technological and pedagogical advantages thanks to the merger result of education sciences, telecommunication, and the internet. It is a solution adopted at the moment of the changes imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic to achieve distance learning. This paper sheds light on the impact of online education and the students’ satisfaction identifying problems encountered and solutions adopted, which represents a solid basis for better strengthening distance education through either the resolution of the problem or the proposal of remedies. Findings show that Moroccan students’ in engineering schools are not satisfied due to many issues related to connectivity and technical problems, but they proposed many suggestions that can help to build a hybrid educational model.
