Abstract
Online technologies have created a new scenario for establishing interpersonal relationships among children and adolescents. However, this scenario is being used to express aggression among youth in what is termed cyberbullying. The literature on cyberbullying, however, is diverse and does not always define this phenomenon as a subtype of bullying. Instead some researchers define cyberbullying as a unique form of aggression. Moreover, research on well-being and cyberbullying is still limited. The purpose of this chapter is to review and discuss conceptual features of this new phenomenon and its relationship to bullying and well-being. Finally, implications for prevention programmes are discussed.
