Abstract
This chapter presents double paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias consisting of coexistent circus movement tachycardia, and atrioventricular node reentrant tachycardia often associated with complex electrophysiology. For electrophysiologic study, various stimulation techniques, manoeuvres, and criteria are described that can be useful in differentiating orthodromic or antidromic circus movement tachycardias from atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia. These double tachycardia constellations require a thorough electrophysiologic evaluation at baseline, peri- and post-ablation. Electrophysiologic studies, mapping, and catheter ablation of various accessory pathways involved in circus movement tachycardia and slow atrioventricular node pathway ablation for atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia performed in a single session are presented in this chapter.
