Abstract
The aim of geoethics is to identify shared values on which to base strategies and operating procedures that are more responsible towards social-ecological systems, compatible with respect for the natural environment, the vocation of the territory, and the health and safety of human communities. These strategies must be scientifically defined and contextualised in time and space, i.e., they must consider different time perspectives in the analysis of expected or possible effects and take into account the diversity of social, cultural, political and economic contexts existing in the places where action is taken.
