Abstract
This chapter covers the second keynote speech, delivered to audiences at the 47th Academy of International Business, UK, and Ireland Chapter Annual (online) Conference at Greenwich University in April 2021. Coviello addresses trends in international entrepreneurship (IE) and offers an agenda for future research in this important domain. The chapter draws on a review paper published in the Journal of Business Venturing that covers early IE articles and highlights how different sub-disciplinary contributions have constituted a vibrant body of IE research. Building on this platform, the chapter clarifies the domain of IE and further highlights recent IE work, fascinating new methodologies and opportunities around studying IE as processes.
