Abstract
A foundational knowledge and understanding of an anti-racist paradigm is necessary across helping professions to serve as a foundation by which we may critically evaluate theoretical perspectives that are disciplinary specific. Towards this end, the current chapter builds on the introduction to provide a comprehensive overview of an antiracist paradigm and covers key theoretical paradigms central towards an antiracist theoretical framework, including emphasis on critical race theory, critical consciousness, identity development, and intersectionality.
