Abstract
Local anesthetic systemic toxicity is a rare but potential complications whenever local anesthetic is administered to a patient, especially for regional nerve blocks. The following chapter focuses on the indications for suspicion of local anesthetic systemic toxicity and a review of the management of this per the American Society of Regional Anesthesiology guidelines.
