Abstract
ASPIN [3], RASPEN [5], and MSPIN [8] rely on various Schwarz methods to precondition eitherNewton–Raphson or inexactNewton. While a priori convergence criteria have been found for the underlying Schwarz methods, so far none exist for their combination with Newton–Raphson.
