Abstract

The use of semantic technologies in the modeling of electronic educational resources is one of the examples of the application of the ontological approach. The potential of ontological modeling is also determined by the peculiarities of using such resources in the educational process.

The technology of ontological modeling of electronic educational resources proposed by the authors is aimed at a specific applied result, for which the methods of creating ordered data structures were effectively used. The objectives of the study are: search for new and modernization of existing approaches to the development of electronic educational resources in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic; presentation of the author’s approach to the use of semantic technologies for modeling electronic educational resources. The authors want to show that the use of their proposed approach, including with the help of the educational resource developed by them and introduced into the educational process, can increase the efficiency of the activities of both teachers and creators (editors) of electronic textbooks. Thus, certain opportunities are created to improve the quality of electronic educational resources. Conditions are provided that make such resources more or less open, more convenient, understandable and visual for users.

The authors reveal wide possibilities of effective application of the ontological approach to the design of electronic educational resources (electronic tex-books, study guides, training collections, catalogs, etc.) with arbitrary digital content.
