Abstract

An 88-year-old male patient was referred to the department because of an exophytic nodule on the bald scalp, which showed some bleeding. His medical history was positive for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma with field cancerization of the scalp, diabetes mellitus type 2, renal insufficiency, atrioventricular block with pacemaker implantation, hypertension, hypothyreosis, gonarthrosis, and partial pulmonary resection during World War II.
