Abstract

Clear cell hidradenoma is a tumor originated from sweat gland, also known as nodular hidradenoma, solid cystic hidradenoma or eccrine acrospiroma. Clear cell hidradenoma is more common in middle-aged women, especially occurs in scalp, face, chest and abdomen. The lesions are usually single intradermal nodules with hard texture and smooth surface, which can be ulcerated. Some cases of clear cell hidradenoma may have invasive growth, and a few cases may have metastasis, which is easily confused with other diseases. We report a case of clear cell hidradenoma at the top of scalp and review the literature briefly.
