Abstract

A 28 years old male patient applied to the outpatient clinic. The dermatological examination revealed giant nevus on the scalp. The lesion was present at birth, slowly enlarges with age, and grows most rapidly during the pubertal hormonal surge. Our clinical diagnosis was a nevus sebaceus of Jadassohn. The patient did not consent to surgical treatment. Therefore the patient was treated with carbon dioxide laser. Before treatment with carbon dioxide laser, the biopsy samples were taken. Histological changes correlated with clinical findings.
