Abstract
Due to the demographic change and longer life expectancies, the ageing population is a profound and pervasive problem worldwide, such as Japan, China, the United States, and Taiwan. It is forecasted that this phenomenon will continuously increase from 9.3% of people aged 65+ in 2019 to 16% of people aged 65+ in 2050.
