Abstract

This chapter discusses integration patterns for KM systems and how the corresponding tools are implemented in order to meet common KM needs. Four integration patterns are described: centralized taxonomy management, auto-tagging for search, TMS and search integration, and search security. For each pattern, the associated process, requirements, and outcomes are clearly laid out.
