Abstract

Inspired by the biological process of natural growth of bamboo, this design simulates the growth characteristics of bamboo rhizome, and uses the good toughness of bamboo materials at the present stage to form a bamboo landscape architecture suitable for bending, folding, and standing, named “Bamboo’s Verve”. In line with the theme of “Better City, Better Life” of 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exposition, the design embodies the green development, fusion and blooming, and colorful environment.
