Abstract

A 17-year-old woman affected by type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM), came to our attention for the presence of indurated erythematous patches with central atrophy on both pretibial legs present for about two years.

Histopathology of skin biopsy revealed degeneration of collagen and granulomatous inflammation with obliteration of vessels.
