Abstract
This book has discussed the role and work of neonatal nurses across the globe, for all the World Health Organizations (WHO) regions, taking a representative from each region to illustrate evidence-based practices relating to care and optimizing outcomes for babies and families. It is hoped that we have bought together both differences and commonalities in nursing care applied to our own patient groups in order to share practices and learn from each other. This is a key and vital message from our book. We believe that a book written by COINN members will enable our collective voice to be heard, aligning with our core values and goals in relation to promoting neonatal nursing as a global speciality through evidence, research, and education of neonatal nurses.
