Abstract
It is important to invite a trained yoga instructor (at least 200 h Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)) to teach the mindful movement portion of this book. They can provide some brief background in regards to the importance of cultivating mindfulness in movement and developing a yoga practice alongside a seated meditation practice. We provide the following sequences, written by an RYT instructor (500+ hours), as potential guides to lead a class in mindful movement aligned with the themes of each curriculum module/chapter. However, if you are working with a trained yoga instructor, we encourage you to allow them to create their own sequences and teach what they know. Please make use of the pictures of the yoga poses as needed.
