Abstract
Post-heroic leaders can nurture team and organization resilience by firstly being resilient themselves and helping individual members to overcome personal and professional struggles. The concept of resilience has to be understood from both individual and team level, due to their interdependence. Both types can be strengthened by focusing on people and by changing the perspective. Building resilience is especially important in the culture of always on, to mitigate the effects of panic work and excessive activation in times of social distancing, reduced socialization and increased uncertainty. The role of leaders is to humanize work to increase employee well-being.
